Develop and Submit Exam Questions
| Having a large pool of questions is important to maintain currency and provide several valid forms of the CVE examination. Rehabilitation professionals in education, service, administration, and research are encouraged to provide exam items.
Developing questions for the CVE examination is a possible source of continuing education credit. CCWAVES is continuously updating the item pool for the CVE examination. Each item submitted with documentation and approved for field-testing earns the author three clock hours of continuing education.
Information about developing well-constructed, multiple-choice items is provided in the Item Writing Guide which includes Sample Items and an Item Checklist.
Certified individuals who wish to submit questions to CCWAVES should mail them to the address listed at the bottom of this page. A completed copy of the Item Checklist form and a photocopy of the reference source materials which pertain must accompany each item that is submitted. |
